Reds Alehouse

North Liberty's Neighborhood Pub

Craft Beer, Craft Food & Patio Dining

Reds Alehouse is a North Liberty restaurant that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

When we opened our doors in 2009 , North Liberty welcomed us with open arms. Fast forward to today, we are proud of our continued participation in the community, our 60+ employees, many awards, and our commitment to friendly service and excellent food. We take pride in being North Liberty’s “Neighborhood Spot”.

Here at Reds, beer isn’t just beer. We believe that great craft beer can add something extra special to not only your dining experience, but to life in general. Maybe that is why we love to drink it, talk about it, cook with it, teach it, throw parties for it….did we say drink it? We know you’ll find a new favorite on our extensive craft beer list!

Walk through our doors and you won’t find a mass-produced domestic beer on tap.  Look at our bottled beer list and we guarantee you’ll find something to fit your taste. If you’re a seasoned “beer geek” check out our bottle list for something truly rare and unique. Our knowledgeable staff and in-house Beer Specialist are here to help you find a beer you’ll love, and our head chef strives to maintain a quality menu. Special events like beer dinners, tap takeovers, and release parties have helped us to be recognized with numerous awards including Best Outdoor Dining and Best Casual Dining. Be sure and subscribe to  The Alehouse “A” List to stay in the know.

Loud, but busy. Drinks came out immediately. Food was hot and fresh. French fries are outstanding. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and kept drinks fun and table clear of dishes. Huge drink menu full of many options.

We hosted an event at Red’s yesterday and had the best experience! The team at Red’s helped us create a limited menu and even printed out beautifully themed versions of the limited menu for our party. The food and drinks were awesome as well! Can’t recommend them enough for every day dining or events!

This was our first time here. We were seated immediately event though the full parking lot and space in front were full. They have a large shaded patio area out back so I think that is where most patrons were as the inside wasn't not full. This did delay our meal a little. Had we ordered appetizers the time would have been filled with that but we didn't. We were not upset at the time delay since we could see everyone was hustling. Our waitress (name starts with an M -- couldn't hear her) was really nice and even though she was busy she always stopped by to see if we needed anything.

It is loud in here and it isn't even the music. The patrons were talking so loudly I could hear some of their conversations clearly. Others were just loud mumbles.

The food was tasty. My husband had the Alehouse burger with Korean BBQ sauce on the side (it is SPICY so be ware!!) He liked it but I burnt my taste buds off with just a tiny lick. 🙂 The fries are maybe beer battered or the like. They are one of my favorite kinds.

I had the charbroiled chicken salad. It was much like a chicken fajita taco salad. (chicken, green peppers, onions, salsa, fried tortilla pieces, cheese, ranch.) My thoughts on the salad would be branch out from romaine with a mix (too easy to get stuck with pieces with hard ribs that are bitter by themselves) and diced tomatoes rather than cherry tomatoes that I have to chop up in order to eat. Corn and black beans would be lovely too. It was nice to be able to add the salsa for flavor rather than the chicken being overwhelming.

We would come here again but maybe during the week or perhaps earlier in the evening so we can enjoy each other's company and not the company (talking) of the tables next to us.

No receipt, just a total from the waitress. It must be the Gen X in me, I want to see what I am paying for and not just a total with tax included. We paid cash to avoid the added on credit card fees.

Great place to unwind and mingle with locals. The corn chowder was delicious, and the dirty martini was made to perfection. Beautiful ambience along with friendly staff make this place special.

A wonderful experience. Met some friends at Reds during Happy Hour. Great Happy Hour prices! I had a Blueberry Mule. It was delicious, not to sweet and you feel the zing of the ginger beer. We shared appetizers of Crazy Goat and Pretzels. The pretzel bites are always tasty, but this was the first time for the Crazy Goat. It was outstanding. I would also like to give a shout out to our server, Saylor(sp?), she did such a great job. She was cheery, friendly, made some great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount. Thanks for the great experience.
