No Crap on Tap!
Reds is making beer.
We’re not selling our stuff yet, but sometimes we have test batches floating around that you can taste. Once we get a building for our brewing system, we’ll start putting our beers into your glasses.
In the interim, take a look at some pictures of the system that we’ve put together. It’s a 3.5 barrel brewhouse, with 7 barrel tanks. It can do about 900-1000 barrels per year, so it’s very small, and it’s really flexible.
This is our kettle. It holds 4.5 bbl gross, and has steam jackets on the bottom and sides. Behind it is the mash tun.
You can see the false bottom in the tun here. Pretty standard stuff, but cool none the less. The fermenting vessels are also really awesome. They are cylindro-conical 7 bbl net fermentors, and the brewery who we bought them from really took great care of them.
